FAQ #1: What is the procedure after I sign up?

After signing up, you will receive a receipt for your payment from our accounting department and a contractual agreement from our legal department. Such contract will simply recap our terms & conditions and outline the length of the temporary staffing timeframe involved with your campaign. The work will start upon reception of your signed agreement.

In the first phase of development, we will set up a conference to discuss the strategy which will be implemented for your link enhancement campaign. Each campaign is highly customized according to many variables: keyword density, multiple URL networks, multilingual platforms, etc. During the consultation, we will also define the strategy for press releases + articles + forums + blogs, etc. Should you not have anyone available to write articles + press releases, although we do not provide such service, we will recommend qualified copywriters who will be able to assist you.

We will also provide you with a full written consultation outlining potential discrepancies reflected on your website from an SEO perspective. In other terms, our technicians will provide you with an in-depth analysis.

It is a very turnkey-oriented service. Except on the initial consultation which is necessary to define a plan of action, we take care of everything else and report to you on a weekly basis.

FAQ #2: From the day I sign up, when does the actual work start?

From the day you sign up, it usually takes 3 weeks before a technician actually starts working on your link enhancement. Depending on our workload, such timeframe can be as long as 5 weeks. We are limited to the manpower of the qualified technicians working in our team. We use the first 3 week timeframe to consult with you and collect articles and press releases. We assist you fully in the process.

FAQ #3: Do I need to hire a link-building-technician for 1 month? 2 months? 3 months? What is the recommended length of a “temporary staffing contract” for link enhancement?

When it comes to link building campaigns, we can only say "the more, the better". It is all a matter of financial commitment from your end...It also depends on the keyword density factor revolving around your website. When getting serious about link enhancement, we usually advise a 2-3 month campaign over the first year, followed by at least a 1-month campaign yearly. However, if your budget allows you to take big steps, take at least a 6-12 month contract over the first year and repeat a one-month campaign every 6 months.

A one-month campaign will, no matter what, increase the backlink factor to your site significantly. Once again, it is all a matter of budget, but the more you can allocate, the more you will consolidate a successful online presence.

FAQ #4: Can I hire more than just one technician at the same time?

Yes, you may hire more than one technician at the same time, but in this case, each technician should be in charge of only one function. For example, if a technician was in charge of blogging, you wouldn't want another technician to be involved with the same task since they might infringe upon each others work. In other terms, one technician should be in charge of directories, another technician in charge of article and press release submissions, with another technician in charge of blogging.

FAQ #5: How often does the work performed by my technician gets reported to me?

We send you detailed reports on a weekly basis, outlining clearly the work performed for the previous week.

FAQ #6: How long does it take to notice results?

Results usually start showing after a few months. In fact, Google will value the seniority of backlinks to your site. In other terms, they will want to make sure that it is not a "fly-by-night" action. A website will start benefitting from link enhancement every time Google crawls through the links, but noticeable ranking improvement might take as long as 6 months.

FAQ #7: Can your technicians come work on location?

Unfortunately, this is impossible since in most cases we do not use only "one technician". We have individuals on our staff who specialize strictly in blogs & forums, others who are strictly submitting articles and press releases. Generally, we use 3-4 technicians per campaign. When we say "one technician for 160 hours per month", we should state, more exactly, "several technicians amounting to 160 hours of labor over one month"!

FAQ #8: After the initial campaign, can I maintain my link-building efforts in-house?

Whether we are posting a comment on a blog or a forum, or whether we are submitting articles & press releases, each action requires an initial registration (email + username + password + verifying registration...). Anyway, after the initial registration process has been performed, every 3-4 months you just have to log onto the numerous blogs & forums where we initially registered you and post some comments. At that stage, you do have an account allowing you to log on quickly, since we took care of the initial registration process which is good for as long as you visit those blogs & forums on a regular basis (inactive accounts might be taken down). In other words, we advise you to spend 20-50 hours every 3 months reactivating your presence through ongoing link enhancement.
